RJ Bernard, an executive for Cincinnati Advertising Specialties, forms Gordon Bernard Co. GBC’s first products were ballpoint pens & mechanical pencils in school colors & logos. After WWII, GBC made Lambs Leather Portfolios, in which discharge
papers came.

The first GBC Fundraising Calendar was printed in the Fall of 1949 for January 1950.

GBC begins to offer full color picture subjects on their calendars.

GBC transitions from their downtown Cincinnati locations to a new facility in the Cincinnati suburb of Milford, OH.

GBC purchased by third generation family member Robert Sherman, Jr.

GBC celebrates 375 customers who have published GBC calendars in their communities for 60 consecutive years.

GBC Fundraising gets a rebrand, with a fresh new logo & sign.
